Aligning Your Dance Mentality
My name is Richard, and welcome to my Break It Down course! Throughout this course, I will be talking about the mentality of dance as well as both the external and internal pressures we face within it. Each chapter will challenge your perspectives on dance and includes exercises designed to be self-reflective.
This course is suitable for all levels. I talk about topics such as pitfalls of over-identifying, how to learn effectively, and modern entrepreneurship. Whether you’ve been dancing for a month or a decade, the material still applies and can even be adapted for life outside of dance.
The goal of this course is to be a resource at any stage of your life. Everything here is self-paced and can be taken and retaken at your discretion. Although I’d recommend taking the entire course at least once, each chapter also works standalone, allowing for easy future reference.
